What is a moonwalk?
A moonwalk is an inflatable bounce house — the same thing people call a jumper, bouncy castle, or inflatable castle. Houston mostly says moonwalk. A combo bouncer is the one distinction worth knowing: it pairs a bounce area with a built-in slide, which holds a wider age range in the same footprint.
How much does it cost to rent a moonwalk in Houston?
Moonwalks start at $135. Combo bouncers with a built-in slide run around $200, and full water slides start at $215. Tents are $150 to $375, chairs $2.50, tables $15, and concession machines $65. Everything is priced separately — nothing is bundled.
How much space do I need in my yard?
Measure the biggest genuinely flat rectangle you have, not the whole yard. A standard moonwalk wants about 20 x 20 feet with clearance on all sides. Tall water slides need length more than width — the 15' Tidal Wave runs over 30 feet from the back of the unit to the end of the splash landing. Check your side gate width too; that's the thing that actually stops a delivery.
Can you set up on concrete or a driveway?
Yes. On grass we stake the unit; on concrete, a driveway, a patio, or artificial turf we weight it instead. That's different equipment, so tell us the surface when you book rather than when we arrive.
How far in advance should I book?
One to two weeks for most dates, longer for crunch weekends — graduation weekends in May and June, the Fourth of July, and the last two Saturdays in October for fall festivals and trunk-or-treats. Midweek is almost always open. Lock the date before you finalize your guest count.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver across Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, and Rosenberg, plus Pearland, Stafford, Cypress, and Bellaire. Extra fees may apply depending on distance. Call 346-803-9765 with your address and we'll confirm.
Are your moonwalks safe?
Every unit is cleaned, sanitized, and safety-inspected before it leaves our warehouse, and anchored by our team on arrival. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance, we can provide one. Inflatables do come down in sustained high wind — that's a safety rule, not a preference.
